The service

Steddy is a daily check-in app for iOS and Android, offered by Bui Quang Quy, an individual (“we”). By using the app or this website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use Steddy with a parent or guardian's permission.

No real money

Steddy never holds, moves or pays out real money. Your balance, milestone rewards and wishlist prices are numbers that you set and the app tallies. Redeeming an item only marks it as rewarded in the app. If you buy something, you buy it yourself, outside Steddy, with your own money. Steddy is not a bank, a payment service or financial advice.

Your account

The app creates an anonymous account when you start. You can link Apple or Google to keep your history on a new phone. Keep your devices and sign-in accounts secure, and give us accurate information if you contact us. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account.

Subscriptions

  • The Steddy subscription is a paid plan, monthly or yearly, that renews automatically until you cancel. Current prices are shown in the app and on the pricing page of this site.
  • A 14-day free trial is offered on purchases through the App Store and Google Play. Web checkout is charged at purchase and has no free trial. For App Store and Google Play subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a trial or period to avoid the next charge; a web subscription can be canceled any time before its renewal date.
  • Web checkout is offered inside the app on iPhone in the United States. There is no checkout on this website.
  • App Store and Google Play: the store bills you. Manage or cancel in your store's subscription settings. Refunds follow the store's process.
  • Web checkout: sold by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Manage or cancel from the link in your receipt email; see Support. See our Refund Policy: we refund any web charge on request within 14 days.
  • Deleting your account cancels a web subscription but does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel that in your store account.
  • If a subscription or free trial ends, Steddy becomes read-only: your history, balance and wishlist stay visible, but you cannot check in, add items, mark items as rewarded, or edit goals and plans until you subscribe again. Days left empty meanwhile are paused, not counted as missed. Your data is kept.
  • We may change prices for future periods and will tell you in advance where the law or the store requires it.

App Store and Google Play

If you got Steddy from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide support or warranty for the app; contact us instead.

If you got Steddy from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply, and Google has no obligation to provide support for the app.

Your content

You own what you add to Steddy: goals, notes, wishlist items and photos. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you. Only add photos you have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse engineer it, to access other people's data, to use it unlawfully, or to upload content that is illegal or infringes others' rights.

Disclaimers and liability

Steddy is provided “as is”. It is a habit tracker and not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. We do not guarantee that the app is uninterrupted or error free, or that it will help you reach a goal. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights that the law says cannot be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will change the date above. If you keep using Steddy after a change, you accept it. You can stop at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
